A word about these words.

I have been a writer my whole life, but for a long span of time, did not write poetry down. I would compose it, particularly when I was running, but let it drift away, like a sand mandala.

A few years back, I started writing some of my poetry down. Most of these pieces are inspired by meaningful relationships in my life, not least among them, the relationship with myself. I have no goals when I write other than to record the strange space that poetry engenders in my brain. I also have no goals in sharing it, other than the ongoing journey of taking the more shadowy corners of myself and shining a light.
